Major adaptation
ICMS: Global Consistency in Presenting Construction Life Cycle Costs and Carbon Emissions, 3rd edition, November 2021, published by the ICMS (International Cost Management Standard) Coalition, defines a major adaptation as: ‘A one-off substantial modification/adaptation/extension of, or improvement to, the main parts of an existing Constructed Asset that is not classified as a Renewal.’
